Proxim Wireless Extends QuickBridge Product Line with New QuickBridge 60250
Proxim has announced the QuickBridge 60250, a point-to-point wireless hop-in-a-box that provides 200 Mbps of capacity in the 60 GHz unlicensed spectrum. The QuickBridge 60250’s small form factor, alignment bracket and alignment scope make it easy to deploy and install.
This new certification means that Proxim's Tsunami MP.11 Model 5054-Rand Tsunami MP.11 Model 5012indoor and outdoor subscriber units now enable FCC-compliant operation in each of the 5.3 GHz, 5.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands in the U.S. and Canada in a single radio.

Now offering the Terabeam Marquee (TeraMax) line of products. The Marquee product line includes 2.4GHz, 4.9GHz, and 5.8GHz Point to Point and Point to Multi point OFDM solutions. They include advanced functionality that allows Near Line of Sight (NLOS) operation within several miles and line of sight operation up to 30 miles. The 4.9GHz products are especially attractive, taking advantage of the uncluttered spectrum allocated by the FCC. Actual data rates of the Marquee line exceed 20Mbps. Terabeam is a member of WiMax, and many of the enhanced features of the Marquee are similar to those specified by the IEEE 802.16(a) which are expected to be incorporated into the WiMax standard.
